Watkins Glen – A home to just under 2,000 souls, Watkins Glen is actually a village, even though we refer to it as a town. It is located in Schuyler County, New York and is, at the same time, the county seat. Since its incorporation back in 1842, it has changed names repeatedly. Originally dubbed Salubria, it was also called Jefferson, then Watkins. Finally, its present name of Watkins Glen was adopted in 1926. Continue reading…
